Harnessing AI in Daily Life: Not enough time.

not enough time

It’s been some time since my last contribution to AI Whisperer — a fact that nags me daily. The reason? I’ve recently embarked on a new journey as a Sales and Marketing Director at Stedman, a role that currently demands my complete attention. Transitioning into a new job and industry is an all-consuming process, requiring adaptations in my daily routine to ensure efficiency, and preserve the energy needed for my writing and business partnerships. How I wish the day had more than 24 hours!

Fortunately, I’ve mastered the utilization of AI to enhance my productivity, but the tasks at hand require more time than a day can offer. Don’t misconstrue this as a complaint — I genuinely love my new role, just as I cherish my work in AI. The only thing I yearn for is more time. It seems to become an even more precious commodity as I age, and oddly, seems to accelerate its pace.

I’m incredibly grateful to be living in this thrilling era, witnessing AI’s ascension. I’ve experienced how the internet revolutionized humanity, and now I’m in the midst of another colossal transformation. This one, however, promises to be even more impactful, as we’re no longer the only intelligent entities on Earth.

As for my current endeavors, my work at Stedman is challenging and refreshing. Our print shirts are of supreme quality — they’re comfortable and offer exceptional value for money. As a marketer, it’s a dream come true to work with a high-value, easy-to-understand product. My mission is to popularize Stedman shirts across Europe, a task I feel well-equipped to conquer given my professional experience and skills.

Parallel to this, I run AI Whisperer, a news blog dedicated to AI research and potential real-life applications. The platform also serves as a conduit to connect with business professionals, assisting them in leveraging AI for personal or business enhancements. My support covers:

  • AI education: Sharing insights on AI advancements and introducing new tools that are beneficial for businesses, like ChatGPT or Midjourney.
  • AI assessment: Evaluating where AI can be assimilated within a company or an individual’s work routine to boost productivity.
  • AI implementation: Integrating AI into business processes and teaching individuals how to utilize AI in their daily lives.

I thoroughly enjoy all these activities, yet the prevailing challenge is time. Balancing all these tasks within a day without compromising quality is a struggle many face. It’s a personal trial that I need to overcome in order to guide others effectively. After all, one can’t teach others to excel without mastering it themselves.

In the past fortnight, numerous AI developments have unfolded which I plan to cover in my upcoming articles. Additionally, I’m launching my next project, AI Select — an interview series featuring professionals in the AI industry. Exciting times lie ahead, and I hope my work continues to intrigue you. If you enjoy it, recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
