Updated: September 26, 2026
This notice explains how personal data is processed when you read The AI Whisperer, contact its publisher, or choose to allow optional website statistics.
1. Who is responsible?
Cao Hung Nguyen, Am Kaisersbusch 6, 42781 Haan, Germany, is responsible for this website. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email hung@theaiwhisperer.de. Further operator information is available in the imprint.
2. Hosting and technical access data
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. Delivering a page requires processing your IP address and technical request information. Server logs can include the requested resource, access time, response status, browser information, and referring page.
This processing supports delivery, security, and troubleshooting of the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure publication.
STRATO describes anonymisation of client addresses in customer-accessible hosting logs and availability of those logs for the previous six weeks. This is the provider’s description of its hosting logs, not a statement that every security log or backup has the same retention period. See STRATO’s hosting-log documentation and privacy information.
3. Contact form and email
The contact form asks for your name, email address, topic, and message. An organisation name is optional. The details are sent by email to hung@theaiwhisperer.de so that your inquiry can be answered. The form uses a security token and a hidden anti-spam field; it does not subscribe you to a mailing list.
The legal basis for ordinary correspondence is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting the legitimate interest in answering questions, corrections, and collaboration inquiries. If an inquiry concerns steps you request before entering a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies. Acknowledging this privacy notice is not consent to advertising.
Providing contact details is voluntary, but the required fields are needed to process a form submission and reply. Please do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. Website and email infrastructure providers process information needed to deliver and store correspondence.
4. Cookies and your choices
Complianz provides the consent controls. It stores your choices in first-party consent cookies. Storage that is strictly necessary to remember your choices is based on § 25(2) TDDDG; associated personal-data processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Optional analytics storage requires consent under § 25(1) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can reject optional categories and still read the website. Use the consent controls or the cookie policy to change or withdraw a choice. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
5. Google Analytics
Google Analytics measures use of this publication, including page views, interactions, referral information, approximate location, and browser or device information. Its European provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google and its service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.
Analytics is enabled only after you allow statistics. Google receives technical connection information, including your IP address. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. This does not mean that all Analytics data is anonymous: cookie identifiers and interaction data can constitute personal data.
The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Analytics uses first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. Google documents a default lifetime of two years; browsers may shorten it. Server-side user and event retention is separate and depends on the Analytics property settings. Google’s standard properties offer two-month or fourteen-month retention; this notice does not claim that a particular account setting has been verified. Aggregated reports can have different retention.
See Google’s data safeguards, retention documentation, privacy policy, and data-processing terms. These terms describe Google’s transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. You may ask the publisher for information about the safeguards applicable to this website.
Google Ads measurement
An existing Google Ads measurement tag is handled separately under the marketing category. It can process page and conversion information, device information, and advertising identifiers. It is not enabled by statistics consent alone. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, with possible processing outside the EEA. The legal basis is marketing consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. See the cookie policy and Google’s advertising information.
Local article-view totals
WordPress also maintains local article-view totals using Post Views Counter. This is separate from Google Analytics. Cookie-based counting has been disabled. Existing totals remain available, and the counting hook requires statistics consent.
6. External links and embedded content
Articles link to external sources and may include third-party media. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. Loading embedded media can disclose your IP address, browser information, and the page being viewed to the provider. Optional embeds are subject to the site’s consent controls where configured; the cookie policy provides further information about these services. A plain link to a social profile is not itself an embedded social-media feed.
7. Newsletter and bookings
No Kit newsletter is currently active on this website. Sending a message does not sign you up for a newsletter. Website booking functionality has been removed; former service pages remain as historical references.
8. Retention and disclosure
Retention depends on the purpose and any applicable legal requirements. Relevant criteria include whether an inquiry is resolved, whether follow-up correspondence is needed, and whether information must be retained to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim. There is no automatic contact-email deletion schedule stated here. Contact the publisher to request deletion or information about a particular record.
Hosting and email providers receive data needed to operate the site and deliver correspondence. Google receives Analytics data when you consent. Data may also need to be disclosed to public authorities where legally required. A visit to this website is not blanket consent to international data transfers or sharing with unspecified business partners.
9. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time. Where processing relies on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to direct marketing at any time.
Send requests to hung@theaiwhisperer.de. You also have the right to complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, including the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), or an authority in the EU member state of your habitual residence or workplace.
10. Changes
This notice will be revised when the website’s data-processing practices change. The update date records changes to this notice; it is not a certification of legal compliance.
