Using AI in Startups: A Big Help for New Business Owners

Inspired by Steve Blank’s thoughts on how AI helps startups, I feel a strong connection to his ideas because I used to run my own business. I often wish that the AI tools we have now were around 15 years ago when I started my first company.

Back then, starting a business was like walking in the dark. I didn’t know much about how to run a business or how to sell and market my products. I needed help from people who knew more than me, like those who understood the market or could design a nice picture for our website.

One time, I hired a marketing team to make a website page for me. But I wasn’t happy with what they did. I felt like I had to tell them everything about making a good website page. This made me want to learn how to make one myself.

If I had AI tools back then, it would have been so much easier. AI could have shown me the right steps to make a great website page. I could have made my own pictures that fit our brand, instead of using common pictures that everyone uses. And the best part? I could have done all this without spending a lot of money. Today, with tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Canvas, new business owners can get great help without spending too much.

I agree with Steve Blank when he says that AI can change the way we start businesses. When it’s cheaper to start a business, more people will try out their ideas. More people will take the chance to start their own company. Also, fewer businesses will fail because AI can show new business owners the right way to do things. In the past, we had to ask experts for advice. Now, we can just ask AI. This saves both money and time.

I’m excited about the future for new business owners. With AI helping them, starting a business will be easier than ever.
